Guidance for Contributors to this Website

Please feel Free to Contribute

All members are very welcome and encouraged to write articles for the website and/or to contribute to Burble and Blatt. Contributions might include for example:

An article of general interest to club members about anything Morgan or car club related
A technical article
An account of a club event
Information about other events that you think may be of interest.

Don't take this as the full definition of what you can contribute; feel free to freewheel.

Guidance on content

You will notice that we have a clear style to our articles and format of information on the website.

If you are contributing to Burble and Blatt then please just send plain text (either as an email or in a Word document or similar) and attach any photos you have to your emailed submission. We have limited space on the website so please don't be offended if we edit your article or omit some of your pictures.

Please don't invest a lot of time in formatting your articles as we have to cut and paste text from them to post onto the website so any time spent by you on formatting is wasted. Do however feel free to use italics or bold if you wish to emphasise a point; but such techniques should not be overused.

Please do not use coloured text as this is not usable on the site.

If you are writing a technical article, then the same guidance applies as we will format your submission to suit our template for technical articles.

You can also send items such as 'flyers' or menu's as pdf's which we can post on the site in the appropriate section.

Burble and Blatt is published monthly in the first few days of the month. If you wish to contribute then please note the following cutoff dates for Contributions:

A reminder:

Please sent unformatted text for web/B&B content. Giffs, smileys, enhanced fonts etc are not supported on the website.
Exceptions are stand-alone articles such as event flyers/menus etc which can be pdf’s or tech articles (which can be in Word format).

Classifieds

There is no copy date for classifieds. Just send them in and we will post them on the site within a few days of receipt.
